Technical services for PV assets

Muvatech structures inspection and diagnostic services to turn technical campaigns into comparable, traceable information that is useful for operation, maintenance, warranties, auditing and investment decision-making.

Aerial thermography

The service relies on HELIUS, our system for planning, standardised capture, analysis and visualisation of thermal data.

Panel-by-panel thermal inspection for solar plants and industrial self-consumption. It is designed to turn an inspection campaign into a technical information system that is useful for O&M, asset management and asset owners.

  • HELIUS technology
  • Standardised capture
  • Image-based analysis
  • Validated methodology
  • Reports within 72 h

Component thermography

Component thermography complements the panel-by-panel reading with a specific inspection of the elements where risks, losses and degradation tend to concentrate: switchboards, connections, string boxes, inverters, protection devices and other specific points of the system.

  • Commissioning and O&M
  • Diagnosis and prioritisation
  • ITC Level 1 certified thermographer
  • Results on the platform

I-V curves

Electrical characterisation using I-V curves makes it possible to analyse the real behaviour of strings, detect performance deviations and provide a diagnostic basis that complements thermography.

  • Electrical diagnosis
  • Complement to thermography
  • Technical prioritisation
  • Use in warranty claims
  • Reading by asset or campaign
  • Basis for decisions

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about the positioning, scope and structure of the solution.

Which standards are used to measure I-V curves?

IEC 61829 is used as the reference for on-site measurement of PV arrays, and IEC 60891 for correcting curves for irradiance and temperature.

What is the difference between a one-off inspection and your approach?

Muvatech’s approach seeks comparability, traceability and operational usefulness. It is not limited to producing isolated images or reports: it provides a structured basis for O&M and ownership decisions.

Does aerial thermography replace other tests?

Not always. Aerial thermography detects and characterises thermal anomalies, but some causes need to be confirmed with I-V curves, component thermography or other specific tests.

What kind of deliverables do you get?

Depending on the service, the client receives a technical report, visual evidence, structured lists of findings, priority criteria and support for queries or comparisons.

Can it be planned across an asset portfolio?

Yes. The approach is designed for repeatable, consistent campaigns across assets, which makes for a more solid portfolio reading and comparisons over time.

Request a proposal tailored to your asset

Muvatech structures campaigns and diagnostics according to the type of installation, the technical scope and the operational objective. The first step is to review the asset, the context and the information you really need to make better decisions.
